Privileges is a right or benefit that is given to some people and not to others or the advantage that wealthy and powerful people have over other people in the society. And that is exactly what Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola also known as DJ Cuppy established a few hours ago.
Cuppy wrote a caption on her Facebook page saying that she is down to earth but still above others, this statement got a lot of people very angry but it is actually true because she is privileged to do somethings others can't. Although the first sentence of the caption would mean that she is humble, which cannot be argued but the second part made others to think that she posseses too much pride.
Check out the screenshots of her post below.
As you all know, DJ Cuppy is the daughter of one of the most illustrious men in Africa, so while she may appear to be bragging she is right in her own, and the fact that she is down to earth shows through her attitude to work for her own money and her future. After she is continuously striving for success even though she is born wealthy and privileged.
With the kind of wealth her family posseses she doesn't need to work a single day, but nonetheless she tries to carve her own foundation to reach higher so that shows how much she needs to be respected. So I believe that there is nothing wrong with her statement, and there is no need to trash talk her for it because she is absolutely right.
She is above others and no one can do anything about it. So what do you think about this? Do you agree that she may be right as well? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section, and also follow Greenkai for more interesting news.
