Regions doesn't really make one successful in the entertainment industry, it all depends on the needed audience to appreciate one's talent. Quite a number of Nigerian celebrities were born and brought up in United States, United Kingdom but weren't so successful until they returned to their motherland and they became more successful than ever before.

In this article, I will unveil two Nigerian celebrities whose return to Nigeria favoured their careers better than ever.

1. Naira Marley:

Naira Marley was born in Nigeria but he moved to Peckham, England when he was just eleven years old. He actually studied over there and aspired to be a voice-over artist. The singer undoubtedly got more relevant when he returned to his motherland here in Nigeria. His career was on a low status in England but upon coming back home he became a Superstar.

Naira Marley music dominated the Nigerian street shortly after his return to the country. He was featured in Olamide's “Issa Goal” and he rose to fame in a short while. The fact that he dedicated the song to the Super Eagles even boosted his relevance and acceptance by his Nigerian fans.

2. Davido:

David Adeleke is another Nigerian who was born in Atlanta, Georgia before coming back to Nigeria. The talented singer obtained his High school certificate in the United States. The Nigerian society is the audience that gave life to Davido's musical endeavors. The singer recently announced his 10 years on stage in the country Nigeria and not the United States.

The singer returned to Nigeria in 2011 but first heeded the words of his father by studying at Babcock University. In 2012, the singer released his song titled “Omo Baba Olowo” and Won The Next Rated Awards at the Headies and that was how his success story began.
