Uche was born in Abiriba which is located in , Abia State predominantly covered with Igbo speaking race. She graduated from the University of Calabar where she obtained her degree in Mathematics and statistics.
She also obtained Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology Minna.
Jombo came into Nigerian movies when she featured in a movie titled "Visa to hell" in 1999.
As a screenwriter she has written and co-written several movies some of which include: The Celebrity, Games Men Play, Girls in the Hood & A Time to Love. Jombo went on to produce films such as Nollywood Hustlers, Holding Hope and her work
Damage which deals with the issue of domestic violence.
