This event is an Old Event that happened in 2018 when the former President Obama was visiting the African nation to commemorate and deliver a lecture on Nelson Mandela’s centenary birth celebration.
But before that, he made a quick stop to support his half-sister Dr. Auma Obama, who opened sports and vocational resource center in Siaya County, Kenya. During the event, as performers were singing on the stage, he couldn’t help but the groove and danced a little bit to the traditional tribal music as he was sitting in the front row. That video went viral and touched the hearts of many.
The reason for this throwback video is as a result of how the people of his country remembered his dancing in Kenya, his kind rule, love, and gesture to its people. Many Nigerians love him too, especially those who live in Kenya and America.
Former US President Barack Obama’s presidency may have come to an end in 2016, but he’s still popular among the masses to date and most especially for his stand against Racism during the incident that happened during George Floyd's death.
Though he can never become the President again he still lives in the heart of many people who will forever remember him even in death. Many in Nigeria wished he was a Nigerian and served as the President, others also prayed for a man like him to trust in Nigeria for a better Nation.
What do you think of the former President Obama, was He your then Fans and now? What do you think of people's prayer for someone like him to become a President in Nigeria?
