Dreams and the act of dreaming is universal, everybody in this world dreams about something at one point or the other in their lives, especially when they sleep for a minimum of 90 minutes.
Growing up, I dreamt a lot and anytime it was about something serious like someone dieing, we always prayed against it. But when it's something abstract, mom would feel my neck with the back of her hands and say that I was having Malaria. A typical Igbo woman, "Lol" .
While dreams sometimes are exact replica of what's going on in our lives, what we were thinking, how we were feeling or how we are feeling, it could also be as a result of some Medical Conditions, anxiety and or fear.
Dreams do have Meanings, as God Almighty can communicate through it, so let's look at some dreams and some of their meanings.
1). It is a very common dream. Feeling yourself falling while you are dreaming means that you are trying to hold on to a situation too tightly in your real life, but you don’t have to. If that is so, you should let it go, and let the chips fall where they may, trusting that God is in control of your life.

This kind of dream brings smile to some people's faces, because it means that you have liberated yourself from a thing that has been weighing you down.
It also tells us how much control we have over our lives, in our decision making, in the things we prioritise, depending upon how effectively or poorly the flying is handled.

Death is often (for obvious reasons) perceived negatively in the world of dreams. This one is one of the dreams that when I have them and wake up, I go down on my knees and pray. We believe it may come to pass, and my momma would always pray about it too.
But most times it is often connected with some dramatic change going on in your real life. Symbolically, you can say that it represents the end of something in order to start something new.
It no doubt can be a warning sign from God, you should pray after having this kind of dream.
4). Being Chased
This may be the number one common dream in the world of dreams. It is the most memorable dream, given that it is the most vivid dreams of all. This dream suggests that you are actually running from a situation (or rather say problem) that needs your attention.
It could be you trying not to confront a situation headlong, it's not your village people chasing and trying to catch you.

Exams are criteria by which we and others generally judge us. If you have a nightmare where you are not prepared for any kind of exam, it means that you are critically examining yourself in your life, and it's a good thing.
6). Dreams about hanging out with a Celebrity.
That you dreamt this dream doesn't mean you are going to be a celebrity, it shows there is something you have in common with this particular celebrity.
Maybe from a movie they acted in or something else.
7). Dreams where you lose your voice and unable to cry out for help.
This dream is quite popular, but most times it doesn't mean your village people are after you or that you are going to suffer, but it can be a result of Sleep Paralysis.
