Apart From Davido, Here Are Other Nigerian Celebrities That Asked Their Fans For Money

Davido AKA OBO has been trending since he started the 1 million Naira challenge. He asked his fans and friends for money for his Birthday in November.

A lot of people thought it was a joke until he started posting evidence of credit alerts and his account balance. Many celebrities, fans and friends sent him money and he has raised over 160 million Naira.

However, Davido's new challenge has now become a trend and some other Nigerian celebrities have decided to ask their fans and friends to send them money as a proof of their love.

Nigerian celebrities that recently asked their fans for money.

Many other Nigerian celebrities have joined Davido's challenge, but I decided to discuss only 5 of them.

1. Rudeboy and Mr P (P-Square)

Rudeboy who recently reconciled with his brother asked their fans to surprise them and shared their account details. He also tagged some Nigerian billionaires and asked them to help show that two heads are better than one.

2. Teni

Teni asked her fans and friends to send her money by sharing a video on Instagram. In the video, she challenged Simi, Tiwa Savage, Teams, Yemi Spade and some other female celebrities to send her a minimum 250,000 Naira.

3. Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy also asked his friends to send him money by sharing an Instagram video. In the video he thanked Davido for giving him the idea. He reminded his fans and friends that his birthday is 5 days after Davido's birthday, so they can start sending in cash gifts.

4. Mercy Eke

Mercy Eke joined the challenge by sharing her account details on Twitter and told her friends and fans to surprise her.

5. Kunle Remi

Kunle, the Nigerian actor told his fans and friends to send him money by sharing a video on Instagram. He told people to send and amount that they can afford.
