There are lots of Nigerian celebrities who have made it big in their respective industries, but despite their influence and the golden opportunities they have for their children to venture into their careers, their children chose different paths and are already striving to perfect their ways in the career they chose. They include the following:
(1) Peter Okoye (Musician):
He is one of the legendary musicians who took Nigerian music to the world. However, since his son Cameron was a toddler, he has shown an interest in football. His father has put effort into developing his son’s career by signing him up for football summer camps and training. Currently, he has grown into a good footballer. He was formerly a member of the Little Tigers football club, but fortunately for him, in 2017, his club emerged as the winner of a tournament and he was awarded the Top Goal Scorer by his team. He later joined the Youth Team of the Barcelona Football Academy based in Lagos.
(2) Obi Cubana
He is one of the most successful night club owners in Nigeria and also an entrepreneur. However, some months ago, he took to his official Instagram page to announce to his fans that his son Alex doesn’t want to become a bar man but rather an animator. He empowered Alex by building an office for him with all the necessary facilities for him to be perfect in his chosen career.
(3) Derey Art Alade (Musician)
Dere’s son Joined FC Barcelona’s Academy in Spain.
(4)Terry G (Musician):
Terry is a big Chelsea fan and he has gone as far as enrolling his son, Tee Rex, in the Chelsea Foundation school. Hopefully, in a couple of years, Tee Rex will go on to join the Chelsea youth academy, and we could see him representing the Blues on our screens in the future.
