When listing top Nollywood movers and legends it will be out of place to leave out the name of actress Bimbo Akintola. Since she started acting in 1995 by featuring in the movie "Owo Blow", Bimbo has continued to prove to everybody that she is a natural at anything that concerns film making. Though her first feature film was ", Owo Blow", it was her role in the movie "out of bounds" which was released in 1997 brought her to limelight. The beautiful actresses acted in the movie along side handsome and talented Richard Mofe Damijo.
The actress has taken out time to grow herself and her craft into something enviable. It is said that she helps push dreams and projects, however you dare not present your script to her if you don't have great plans for it. Bimbo has acted in a lot of movies and has constantly showed her expertise. Even now watching Bimbo on the screen is ever thrilling.
You might commend her acting skills in the movie "Zena", which she acted along side talented actors and actresses. The movie also featured Nollywood handsome prince; Baaj Adebule. Bimbo also appeared in the movie "The babysitters", which remains one of my favorite movies.
Bimbo Akintola is 50 years old now but she hasn't aged a day. She still looks very young and energetic. One of the things people admire about the actress is her ability to stay calm.
