Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adedamola Adefolahan professionally known as Fireboy says it is difficult to make it in Nigeria.

The 24-year-old Afrobeats singer is of the opinion that in Nigeria, it is difficult to actualize one’s dream as they die even before people do.

In a Twitter post on Friday evening, he lamented that it was not an easy route to success at all asking for God’s Protection and deliverance from evil.

He wrote:

“difficult to make it in a country where dreams die before people do. e no easy. Jah bless our hustle and protect us from evil”.

Fireboy is signed to YBNL Nation, an independent record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide.

His debut studio album Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps was released in 2019.
