The renowned Roman Catholic religious sister, Mother Theresa nimbly intoned, "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread." But as for David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, he is never going to feel that hunger for many years to come, he is already loved and appreciated, and if the peak of the music awards is given by voting, he would continue to win it for many years to come. He has made history by being a tireless giver.
Meanwhile, he does not need to win Grammy Awards to be recognised as the biggest artist of the modern Nigerian music industry. He has done the unthinkable, the unprecedented gestures, and in the heart of the majority of the people, he is already bigger than his competitors who have won Grammy Awards.

Away from that, Thomas Aquinas would say, "charity brings to life again those who are spiritually dead". The N251 million that Davido is about to donate to the orphanage homes and other charity foundations would bring hope and life to many, and in the heart of those people, he will be remembered and honoured than those who have received Grammy Awards and this alone is bigger than any reward human can give.

Lastly, if all that is needed by Davido to be great is Grammy, then greatness needs another definition, moreover, he is a good musician, and I believe sooner than later, he will be on the list of the Grammy Awards winners. But for now, he is better than any award winner in the heart of his fan and the heart of the general public. His acts of kindness will continue to echo for years to come. Congratulations to him on winning the hearts of the people.
