Emanuella Samuel, a Nigerian teen actress, has added another feather to her cap by winning an award at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in the Favourite African Social Media Star category.
The ecstatic young lady announced the news on her Instagram account, thanking the award show's producers as well as her fans who voted for her.
Congratulations on winning the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2021 category for Favorite African Social Media Queen, she wrote. Thank you very much for selecting me as a winner!
To win the prestigious prize, Emanuella beat out Nigerian comedy group Ikorodu Bois, South African magician Wian Van Den Berg, Ugandan Youth Dance Group Ghetto Kids, Kenyan social media sensation Elsa Majimbo, and South African media personality Bonang Matheba.
Despite losing to Emanuella, the Ikorodu Bois have taken to Twitter to congratulate the comedienne on her achievement in the spirit of sportsmanship.

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is a Nickelodeon-produced annual American children's awards ceremony broadcast.
The ceremony was hosted by American actor Kenan Thompson this year, and Justin Bieber, a Canadian celebrity artist, performed.
