Reactions to the President's tweet expressing concern for the ill Saudi King.

The news of the ill health of the Saudi King hits the internet yesterday and top officials have offered their heart felt good wishes and speedy recovery to the ill king.

The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has also expressed his concern for the king. A post was shared yesterday via President Muhammadu Buhari's tweeter handle and it goes thus;

"On behalf of myself, the government and people of Nigeria, I pray for speedy and full recovery of the Saudi King, and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, one of the finest leaders I have ever met in the course of my interactions with world leaders."

He added "King Salman is a true friend of Nigeria who has never failed to identify with us at all times through important collaborations and cooperation. As he receives medical attention, I send my best wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery."

However, this tweet received a backlash from Nigerians as they reacted harshly to this tweet.

One Jonado replied thus;

"Thunder fire both of una

What about the ones that r being killed daily in Nigeria .

When U die wait for me cause it’s only Jesus that will separate our fight"

Some others complained of the cases in Nigeria that needs attention.

See screenshot of their reactions below:

What do you think about this?

I honestly don't think it was wrong for the President to pray and express good wishes for the ill Saudi King, it's simply human to wish someone else speedy recovery, regardless of what you maybe facing personally.
