Popular Nigerian actor and Award-winning movie producer,Olaiya Igwe has narrated his ordeal in the hands of the film pirates.
In a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune,the movie producer stated that he has not been able to produce movies since 2012 due to piracy.
He added his last movie, Aditu Isokan gulped about fifty two million naira(#52m) with no return on his investment.
Olaiya Igwe whose real name is Ebun Oloyede said the government are not doing enough in curbing piracy noting that if the government is serious about tackling the scourge, piracy would have been a forgotten problem in Nigeria.
The movie star said he did not make a dime from the last movie he produced after pirates dealt with him and had to relocate to the United States of America for a while for him to restore his sanity.
Olaiya Igwe is one of the most talented and sought after actor in the Nollywood Industry, he has won many awards and recognitions for his superb acting skills both in Nigeria and abroad.
