3 Female Nigerian Musicians who rose to Fame in 2021 (Photos)

Nigeria is one of the biggest countries in Africa when it comes to the entertainment industry. Producing so many incredible talents in the movie, music and entertainment industry as a whole. One thing is for sure, becoming a success story in the Nigerian entertainment industry is one of the hardest things anyone can achieve, especially in the Nigerian music industry.

Fortunately for some new Female artists in Nigeria, they have been able to overcome the challenges and break into the limelight in 2021 with their incredible singing skills.

#1 Ayra Starr

Ayra Starr is unarguably one of the new female artists making waves in the Nigerian music industry recently. She is signed under the popular Mavins Record alongside the likes of Rema and Ruger.

She has dropped multiple hit songs such as " bloody Samaritan" and is currently one of the most listened to female artists today. Her full name is Oyikansola Sarah Aderibigbe. After she got signed into Mavins Record, she released a 5- track EP that subsequently brought her into the limelight.

#2 Ugoccie:

Favour Ugochi Anosike popularly known as Ugoccie is a famous rapper and singer who rose to fame in 2021.

She started gathering major attention when she did a cover of a song titled " In my bed" by Rotimi a Nigerian- American singer and actor. The title of her cover is " Do you really like me" which became a trending song on TikTok.

#3 Salle

Salle who takes the number 3 spot on my list has been the talk of the town in the Nigerian music industry. Some weeks ago, a controversial video of Salle singing with an incredible voice to a random beat, while holding a tray as if she was hawking, went viral on social media, as her incredible voice won the heart of many Nigerians.

Ever since then she has gotten major recognition from top celebrities like Don Jazzy, and is probably set to sign a record deal.
