Nigerians still remember R&B, pop, rap and electropop diva, Goldie Harvey who met her fate after she died on 14th February 2013. It was on Valentine's Day.

The Jawo Jawo crooner attended the 2013 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California and returned home, she complained of a headache and was rushed to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Born Susan Oluwabimpe Filani on October 23, 1981, Goldie was to celebrate her 32nd birthday in the Independence month of Nigeria but unfortunately could not live to see that memorable day.

Apparently, everything proves that Goldie was about ruling the circular music world and here's why we think so.

The sensational artist had risen to become a famous musician with a name in the music industry in Nigeria and even after her death, she is still the talk of the Town.

Although Goldie discovered her music career while at the senior high school, her rise to fame began when she graduated to become a complete recognized musician.

She was managed and nurtured by music record label, Kennis Music.

At the season seven of Big Brother Africa Stargame competition, Goldie Harvey was evicted from the show.

According to an autopsy conducted by the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, the Nigerian pop star died of 'hypertensive heart disease,' which triggered an "intracerebellar hemorrhage."

She was buried on the 25th of February, 2013 at the Vaults and Gardens Cemetery, Ikoyi, Lagos.

On 13 April 2013, press releases said that properties of Goldie Harvey have been willed to charity organisations. Scroll down and click to view 16 photos of Goldie Harvey at her peak……
