Over the years, Ebuka Obi Uchendu has been the host of the biggest reality show in Africa, Big Brother Naija, and before this year's event took place, there were some reactions from people that needed a change of host. Not because Ebuka isn't good at what he's doing, but because they just needed to satisfy their desires, but after due consideration, the organizers of the show still found Ebuka as the perfect man for the job and he was given another contract, which he executed perfectly.
In an interview recently, he talked about the strategies he's been using that have kept him outstanding over the years. According to him, the change in different strategies for each show, the interaction with the housemates, the pidgin proverbs, etc. were all part of his strategy to appear different and give people something to talk about, even if he may be bad at what he does.
See the video link below.
Recall that during the "shine ya eyes" season, Whitemoney, who eventually became the winner, was seen as applying strategy to everything he did, especially with the cooking part. This strategy eventually contributed to his success so far, and that's where I come in fully.
In life, there are many people who can do better than you in any field you think you're best in, but what makes you outstanding is the approach you give to that job you do, which many people may not know exactly how to do. Ebuka was smart enough to think out a strategy that eventually kept him in the job for a long time, and that's to tell you that you shouldn't be too predictable in whatever you do, or else people will easily get bored with you.
