Internet frauders are everywhere, deceiving regular human beings in other to enrich themselves. They make use of social media to get to the mind of the people and convince them to part with huge sums of money while promising to do one thing or the other.
These internet scammers make use of celebrities that are much loved and admired. They create a page and pretend to be the celebrity thereby extorting large sums of money from the people that fall victim. Destiny Etiko is one of the most loved Nollywood actresses presently, and she has lots of fans and followers on her instagram page. As a result of this, scammers are opening a variety of pages across social media platforms, claiming to be her and defrauding people of their hard earned money. The curvy actress took to her Instagram page to warn her fans, to protect themselves from being defrauded. She mentioned clearly that she is not on Facebook and does not even have a facebook page.
