Amal is an indigene of Sokoto State, but she was born in Kano where she attended her primary and secondary schools. She is currently waiting for admission into higher school to further her education.

Amal named some of her fellow actors who she always wanted to act along with and they are; Ali Nuhu, Adam Zango, Sani Danja, and Yakubu Muhammad. That she always watch them when they are dancing in movies.
