Meet Rapper named Eazi-E, He died of HIV and AIDS.

Eric Lynn Wright, known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group Nigga With Attitude(N.W.A) and its label, Ruthless Records, pushing the boundaries of explicit music.

Also nicknamed Mr. Eazi-E, Eric is what you'll describe as a mini Tupac Shakur. Eazi-E had a troublesome musical career, his main and bitter rivals were Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.

Eric was born on September 7, 1964, in Compton, California, a Los Angeles suburb noted for high crime rates and gang culture.

Due to the level of violence he grew up to witness in his everyday life, he became a drug dealer at a young age and recruited his cousin into the business.

Eazi-E sold marijuana, not cocaine, and the hood he grew up in was so rough the only chance you have in order to survive is either you had to be thug, basketballer, gangsta, or a drug dealer. Otherwise, there was only one role left to you: “the victim.”

Eric was a very small man in a very rough neighborhood, he needed one of these titles in order to have some kind of protection, and he ends up settling for two “the thug and a drug dealer.”

At 22, Eric in his drug peddling business is already worth around $250,000 in the year 1986, meaning his net worth would amount to millions of dollars in today's market.

Other than his illicit dealings, Eric was a chronic womanizer, he slept with everything and anything in shorts and skirts.

He frequented strip clubs and brothels with his gangs who swarm him and will engage you at any slightest provocation.

Eric was popular in the city of Compton Los Angeles, California home to gangster rap and hardcore music.

However, when his cousin and illicit business partner was fatally shot and killed in a heated drug war, Eric decided to try his hand in music especially hip-hop which was becoming a popular trend at that time.

He left behind the drug dealer life and began recording songs during the mid-1980s in his parents' garage hence starting Ruthless Records.

Before the emergence of Ruthless Records, Eric met with a white music promoter named Heller, he and Heller went into an agreement for Heller to promote Ruthless Records in exchange for Heller to keep 20 percent of earnings from the record label, and Eric to keep 80 percent.

Music group N.W.A was affiliated to Ruthless Records, the group was a boom in the 80s, it had the likes of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Arabian Prince signed on to the group and Eazi-E was on it as owner and a recording artist.

The compilation album N.W.A. and the Posse was released on November 6, 1987, and would go on to be certified Gold in the United States.

Eazi-E had it all during his time, money, cars, women, and fame, Yet he remained more significant behind the scenes, he signed and promoted the popular rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony from 1993 to 1994.

Despite a successful business career in music, Eric aka Eazy-E was suddenly hospitalized and diagnosed with HIV and AIDS, he died due to its complications in 1995.

Eric had 11 sons in total including rapper Lil Eazi-E.
