The first male celebrity on my list who buried his mother this year is a veteran Yoruba actor, film producer, and film director, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as ‘Oga Bello’. Oga Bello is a popular Nollywood actor who has been in the industry for over 50 years. He lost his mother, Alhaja Aishat Ayoka AbdulKareem, on the 3rd of August 2021, in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Oga Bello is a Muslim and his mother was a Muslim too. His mother was buried on the same day she died, according to Islamic ways of burial. She was buried at Bello's compound pakata roundabout, Ilorin, Kwara State. May Allah forgive her.

2. Shanko Rasheed
Another popular male Nigerian celebrity who buried his mother this year is a Multi-talented Afro hip-hop singer, Rasheed Atanda popularly known as Shanko Rasheed. He lost his mother, Alhaji Taiwo Kudirat Ojetayo on the 13th of August 2021. Shanko Rasheed's Mother was a Muslim. She was buried on the same day she died at Ibadan, Oyo State. His mother died at the age of 67.
Shanko Rasheed did 8-day Firdaus prayers for his late mother on the 21st of August 2021. May Allah forgive her.
