Jurassic World is a 2015 American science fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow. Budgeted for 150 million USD, the movie yielded a whopping 1.67 billion USD in Box office according to Internet Movie Database (IMDB).
The movie follows a story of a theme park showcasing genetically-engineered dinosaurs that turns into a nightmare for its tourists when one of the dinosaurs escapes its enclosure. An ex-military animal expert who goes by the name Owen Grady (real name: Chris Pratt), steps up to save the day.
The film was shot in England, and at Kualoa Ranch in Oahu, Hawaii. The film was loved by many because of the combined spectacular visual imagery with an unfamiliar, exciting perspective of dinosaurs displayed in the movie.
But how were the dinosaurs in the movie actually created?
The dinosaurs were created by Industrial Light & Magic using Computer Generated Imagery CGI and by Legacy Effects using life-sized animatronics. Therefore when we were seeing real life dinosaurs in the movie, it was actually a dull or probably nothing during the filming.
Below are more photos from behind the scenes of the movie and the movie itself.
