Precious Freeborn known by her stage name 'freeborn' is a single mother of two. She participated in the MTN Yellow Star Music Reality TV Show 2020. Her performance in MTN Yellow Star, impressed the audience and brought them to top-notch entertainment at the weekly performance shows.
Freeborn is a 33 year old Bayelsa Indigene and a school dropout. She decides to audition for the MTN Yellow Star following encouragements from family and friends. She impressed the judges with captivating performances. One of which is Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' and went on to hold the attention of the viewing audience.
Freeborn before the show, is passionate about music, food, her children and travelling. She earned a living from singing 'gig' and cooking.
At the closing gala of the show, the 14 contestants including her, were presented with certificates from Berklee College of Music and Henly Business School, following rigorous training sessions in the Yellow Star Hub.
On receiving her certificates, she said "I am elated and cannot believe I got the Berklee scholarship. This is a dream come true. It has taught me to never be scared to dream big because dreams come true".
