Lilian Afegbai is a Nigerian actress and producer. She was a former housemate at the Big Brother Africa, and she also worn the African Magic viewers choice award, AMVCA in her first film debut BOUND in 2018.
In this article Lilian narrates how it's been for her in the industry. In an interview with This Day, she explained that for her to keep winning in the industry and the society at large she has to overcome obvious stereotypes.

"I am proud to have conquered them to bring BOUND to life", she said.
She made her points clear in her most recent post on Instagram; why she took a break from the industry.
She explained that the industry is not an easy place to be. Inasmuch as this would really mean, "nobody is waiting for anybody" she said.
Because of this she took a break from acting to build her financial status. Reason being that one has to remain focused and strong if they want to attain such fame in the industry.
" I took a break from acting to focus on some other things, because I needed to be financially stable if want to fully focus on acting and production, hence I wasn't doing films.But now I'm back to be on your big screen", She said.
