Wizkid is a great motivator for young musicians in Africa, and till date, he is the highest followed Nigerian musician on Twitter. He started recording music at age 11 when he released a collaborative album with few of his church friends.
Wizkid grew up living with 12 sisters, a father, Alhaji M.O Balogun, who is Muslim and a Christian mum, Mrs. Balogun. Wizkid wasn't always known as Wizkid as he used to be called Lil Prinz when he just started singing but changed the name in 2006.
Although it might have taken some years before he finally broke into limelight, Wizkid is not exactly a kid in the music industry.

At the age of 15, Burna Boy got his first tattoo. He says the tattoos are a representative of him artistically. He has more than 12 tattoos and has a tattoo of his role model, Kuti Fela on his arm.
