Nigerian movie star has taken to his social media space to pay tribute to his mother in law.
Mide Martins mother Funmi Martins is a popular figure in movie industry in the 90's. The late Funmi Martins passed away years old and it appears that her memory continues to linger in the mind of Afeez Owo.
Afeez Owo was groomed by the late actress and he was very close to her. Although, we don't know how he met his wife, Mide Martins but one thing we are sure of it that they have continued to build their marriage despite the rumours of infidelity in the past.
Early this afternoon, Afeez shared a throwback snap of Funmi Martins. It appears the photo was taken when she was much younger as he paid tribute to her with eulogies.
He expressed how grateful he is and added that he will be forever indebted to her. In his final words, he called "Iya" a Yoruba Language which means "mother" in English.
Sharing the post on his Instagram page @officialafeezowo, he wrote: "Keep Resting In The Bosom Of Your Creator! OLUWAFUNMILAYO ANIKE Your Good Deeds Still Speaks. For You ANIKE!!! Thank You For Everything I Will Forever Be Indebted To You (IYA) Like I Used To Call You."
