Even though the fact that Nigerian entertainment or music remains the Giant in Sub-Saharan Africa can never be disputed, only that they may be ranked low when we are talking about Africa in general with includes the northern part of the continent like Egypt and Morocco.
And again, Nigerian entertainment and artistes may be taking the lead when it comes to Afro-pop or Hip-hop but not in a list about any kind of music genre in Africa.
Check that out in the list below.
Talking about the list of the most watched artists in Africa and Nigerian artists, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido and Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name 'Burna Boy' are regarded as the finest artists and greatest music exports out of Africa. These three have been doing amazingly great, topping the charts both home and abroad and winning numerous high-profile awards in and out of Africa.
However, it is quite surprising that only two of them made it to the top 15 list of African most watched artists on YouTube, and the two were even at the 10th and 15th position which means if the list was top 10 African artists, only a single artist from Nigeria would have been mentioned.
Unfortunately, Wizkid is missing but Burna Boy and Davido made their country proud again. See the full list and the total number of their views below.
