Big brother Naija Season 5 is well and truly gone and it had a lot of drama but the most prominent one is the rivalry that generated between Erica Nlewendim and and eventual winner Laycon. The two were very good friends in the early stages of the show but things turned sour as the show went on. Erica met a new friend and lover Kiddwaya and that took a toll on laycon who was obviously in love with her but never expressed it until it was late. So Laycon asked for space to heal and that did not go well with Erica so one thing led to the other and they became enemies in the last days of the house.

When Erica was disqualified, it was partly down to the emotions that came from this soured friendship. They both got into many fights but Erica was the more vocal one. I remember her saying that she does not want her name to be associated with Laycon who then was not very popular. So a few months later, who has more followers and fans on high traffic social media sites line Twitter and Instagram?. Let's take a look.

On Micro logging platform twitter, Laycon has the edge. He has close to 1 million followers plus he is also verified.

Erica on the other hand has a little over half of Laycon's number - 500,000 followers.

On Instagram, it is an all too similar story. Though they are both verified, Laycon still very much has the edge with almost 3 million followers.

Erica on the other hand has less than half of Laycon's number - almost 1.5 million.

The difference between both stars when it comes of an online fan base is obviously very huge with Laycon having the upper hand. What are your thought?
