Comedy Skit Gone Wrong As Nigerian Police Arrests Popular Comedian

There is limit to everything in life. If you go overboard, you will definitely end up hurting yourself. We have seen people do ridiculous and dangerous things for money and fame, at the end of the day they lost everything.

An upcoming comedian by the name Comrade Funny whose real name is Abdullahi Paranti has been arrested by the Kwara State Police Force.

The comedian, dressed in white robe tied round his waist, red beads around his neck and a white bucket which he was holding went to the government house and was demanding to see Governor Abdulrasak.

While he was being filmed, the arrested comedian was yelling to those present that the State Governor has not being picking his calls since he won the gubernatorial elections in 2019.

In response to the strange event, the security personnel assigned to the state House swift into action by arresting the comedian and his friend who was filming.

Despite pleas and evidences by the arrested individuals, the state government promised to drag them to court over charges of blackmail.

In a video that just surfaced on the internet, Comrade Paranti is seen being interrogated by the police. He denied charges against him which includes blackmail. He said, 'I am only a comedian who tried to go viral.'

'I am very popular in Illorin and I have no ulterior motive against anyone ,' he added.

His fans have been pleading for his release while others believe he should be punished to serve as a lesson to others.
