Stunning photos that show that 'Mama Africa' Yemi Alade is a true African queen

Yemi Eberechi Alade also known as 'Mama Africa' is a Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade first came to lime light in 2009 after winning the peak talent show before breaking into the Nigerian Music Industry in 2014 with hit single 'Jonny'.

Yemi Alade was born on 13th of March 1989 (age 32 years) to a multi-ethnic family, her father is a Yoruba man (Ondo state) while her mother is from the igbo tribe (Abia state). Yemi Alade was born in Abia state but grew up in Lagos State, since her rise to stardom Yemi Alade has always portrayed the African culture which makes her a true African queen.

Yemi Alade's ability to sing in different African languages (Yoruba, Igbo, Swahili, Pidgin and French) and the versatile use of African attires in her music videos earned her the nickname 'Mama Africa' which is also a title to her second studio album.
