Iyanya hit a jackpot following his appointment by the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade as Senior Special Assitant on Tourism and Entertainment. Iyanya is popular for winning the first season of Project Fame and known for his hit song, 'Kukere'.
2) Ini Edo
The ace Nollywood diva who has a successful movie career of over 2 decades made an entrance to the political space following his appointment as Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on Culture and Tourism in 2016. Ini Edo's appointment was renewed in 2020 and he still maintains her position.
3) Femi Adebayo
The talented Nollywood actor is known for his many characters in Yoruba movies. The movie producer and lawyer is currently the Special Advisor to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture, and Tourism.
4) Desmond Elliott
Before making his way to politics, Desmond Elliot was a renowned actor who has featured in a plethora of Nollywood movies. Desmond is currently a House of Representative member for the Surulere Constituency. He contested and won the election in 2015 which makes him a part of the Lagos State House of Assembly as he was re-elected in 2019.
