Kareem Adepoju popularly known as Baba Wande is a legend in the Yoruba Nollywood.He acts with his body and soul and he is one of the elderly veteran that is well respected by his teeming fans, colleagues and the Yoruba nation at large.

He came into limelight in 1993 after he featured in the classic and evergreen movie - Ti Oluwa nile where he acted as 'Oloye Otun'.He has featured in many other movies like Ayo ni mo fe,Arugba,Abeni,Igbekun and Obuko dudu.
He is well travelled and has received many awards for his exceptional performance in Nollywood movies and this has earned his respect and fame in the society.

The 75 years old thespian got the sobriquet 'Baba Wande' in one of the episodes of Oyin Adejobi produced 'Kooto Ashipa' and the name has become a household name since then.
