Teniola and Niniola are the daughters of the Late (RTD) Brigadier-General, Simeon Olaosebikan Apata, a military man, who fought for the Nigerian army under ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo during the civil war.
Teniola Apata born (December 12,1992) is a Nigerian,songwriter,singer and entertainer.she is the younger sister of Nigerian singer Niniola.she attended Apata memorial high school and has a degree in business administration in intercontinental university.
Teniola make her debut single "Amen" while signed to shizzi's magic fingers records label. Then she left the record label and signed with Dr Dolor entertainment in 2007.Teni started gaining prominence after releasing the single "fargin" in September 2007.
Teniola won Rookie of the year at the 2018 Headies Awards,and most promising Act to watch at the 2018 Nigerian entertainment.She also won Best new Artist at the 2018 Sound city MVP Awards festival.
In March,2019,Teni signed an endorsement deal with Tom Tom,a candy brand produced by cadbury Nigeria.
