Falz, Tiwa Savage, Other Celebrities Who Participated In The EndSARS Memorial

October 20th marked a year of nationwide protest that later resulted in bloodshed at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State and other parts of the country.

Although, the events that occurred that very night are yet unclear as a lot of controversies were raised.

However, the EndSARS protest is understood to be a decentralized social movement and series of mass protests against police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria.

The youths have maintained their energy to remember those murdered in last year's demonstration as they troop out in numbers today to again express their grievances.

To mark its first anniversary, some Nigerian celebrities joined their voices with the youths, taking to the streets, while others took to their social media platforms to mark the anniversary. 


Popular singer, Folarin Falana better known as Falz led a car procession to the Lekki Tollgate to mark the anniversary.

The singer's led many groups of cars forming a group of a convoy, holding high and waving the Nigerian flag while chanting songs.

Mr Macaroni

Nigerian comedian, Debo Adedayo who was arrested during the EndSAR protest on 13 February 2021 also joined Falz to lead the car procession held at the Lekki Tollgate yesterday.

Media personality Ebuka Uchendu

The fashionista and TV Host, Ebuka Uchendu  rocked a black attire with the date of the Lekki Massacre inscribed on it. He took to his Instagram to share the photo.

Charly Boy

Number one Area Father and controversial singer, Charly Boy stormed the Lekki toll gate with a group of youths to mark the Endsars anniversary.

Tiwa Savage 

Popular singer, Tiwa Savage posted a song inquiring about who gave the order 

BBNaija Angel

The reality star and former Big Brother housemate, Angel smith dedicated a heartfelt poem to mark the #anniversary.
