Nollywood veteran actor, Nkem Owoh turned 63 yesterday, 7th February, 2021.
The iconic Nigerian actor is well-known for his comic roles in movies numbering over 200. And his natural ability to wring laughs from many movie lovers is what makes him a fan favourite to date.
Amongst his many achievements, his brilliant performance in the movie Stronger Than Pain won him the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2008.
Osuofia as he's popularly called, celebrated his birthday on a movie set.
A bunch of men were seen delivering drinks and some other edible items to the set, while the celebrant, Nkem Owoh, called for more drinks from his vehicle.
It seems like he decided to leave his colleagues with something to remember, unhindered by the fact that the film shoot coincided with his birthday.
He addressed the film crew gathered around him, explaining that he could've done more, but given the situation of things, they should accept him in his little capacity.
In his word, "I usually don't like coming from a disadvantaged position, fighting from a weak point. But that's exactly what I'm doing now. Please I'm happy and thankful"
His show of magnanimity towards everyone on set was beautiful to behold.
Also, from the video, one could see his leadership presence, yet, it was marked by modesty.
I mean, you can't help but respect Nkem Owoh, who unarguably is one of Nollywood's finest.
Happy birthday and many more years to him.
