According to GoldMyne, Rachael Oniga died on 30th July, 2021, but the cause of her death was not revealed. Rachael Oniga before her death was a single mother of three. She had contributed a lot in the Renaissance of Nollywood.

A brief look into her life reveals she was born on 23 May 1957 in Ebute Meta, Lagos State. Her acting career started after her divorce with her husband in 1993. Rachael Oniga had once expressed regret that she didn't fight for her marriage.

She had featured in many Nigerian movies, like Sango, Owo Blow, Power of Sins and recently My Village People. May her soul find solace in the bossom of the Lord.
