Annie was born on 13th of November 1984 in Ibadan, but her roots are from Eket in Akwa Ibom State. When her parents divorced, Annie moved to Lagos with her mother. Annie Idibia has two degrees: one in Computer Science and the second in Theatre Arts. When Annie was just fifteen, she first met 2Face Idibia at Even Ezra Music Studio. In her words, “I think there was some electricity that second.” They first became friends but had started dating officially by the time they shot the “African Queen” video in 2004.
On 2 May 2012, 2Baba and Annie Macaulay married in Lagos, Nigeria in a private ceremony. A civil ceremony also held in Dubai, UAE on 23 March 2013 and had a high attendance of celebrities. The celebrity couple are parents to 2 girls; Olivia Idibia and Isabella Idibia.
Adekunle Gold
Simisola Kosoko better known by her stage name Simi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. She started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju.
Adekunle married Simi in a close-knit ceremony in January 2019. They welcomed a daughter in June 2020.
According to Simi, they met for the first time in 2013 at Bogobiri House, Ikoyi, where she had gone to perform. “He was chasing me all over Facebook. When I was doing gospel music, he used to listen to my songs,” she said in an interview on Ndani TV's The Juice.
