Hello guys, welcome to my channel. This morning's gist is about Simisola Ogunleye popularly known as Simi and her reactions after a Nigerian who goes by the name Iyanuoluwa played a prank on her that her bank account has been blocked by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Simi and The Lady Who Pranked Her
If you are a Nigerian or have been in Nigeria for a least a year now, then you might have heard about Simisola. She is a singer and song writer, the voice and brain behind the long trending Duduke, a song which expresses how mothers love, care, pray and hope for a brighter future for their children. A few hours ago, the Nigerian singer and Duduke crooker took to her official Instagram account to share the prank that her friend, sister, business partner and colleague played on her earlier today.
According to the picture the singer uploaded to her Instagram story, Simi had given the lady some amount of money to go to the bank and deposit for her, however after a while, the lady started chatting her on WhatsApp and told her that her bank account wasn't accessible. In her words, she told Simi; "Your account isn't working, the CBN can't recognize the account, there are difficulties to access". She further added; " What should we do now?". As if that wasn't enough, the lady then told the singer that she is very speechless as she is short of words.
Immediately she dropped these texts in her inbox, Simi was very shocked about the news as she quickly asked her what she meant. You can see how Simi expressed her surprise as she said; "Wtf, what do you mean?" However, the lady immediately told her that it was a joke. This did not go down well as the singer blasted her for throwing such an expensive prank at her. Meanwhile, something that touched me is the way the singer handled the whole situation even after the lady told her that her bank account wasn't accessible and that the CBN didn't recognize her account. Some people would have reacted differently, but Simi chose to take things easy.

Please not all pranks should be played on someone because we don't know how that prank may affect the person psychologically or emotionally. People react to pranks differently and we should be careful not to play with people's feelings all in the name of pranks.
