Ghanaian actress, sentenced to prison for posting nude photos with her son on social media

The promotion of nudity on social media could come with severe consequences, hence the need to adhere to moral standards of the land.

Ghanaian Actress, Rosemond Brown, better known as Akuapem Poloo has been served with a ninety-day jail term for displaying a high level of immorality on social media.

Poloo, after pleading guilty, was on Wednesday, April 14, convicted by the Accra Circuit Court over a naked picture she shared on social media on her son’s birthday, June 30, 2020.

The actress was charged with misdemeanor, domestic violence and publishing obscene content.

However, she was earlier detained to undergo a pregnancy test, but it appears the outcome was negative, hence the judgement.
