Reno Omokri Reveals Bible Verse That Says Buying Alcohol With Tithe Money Is Not a Sin
Omokri is the founder of a multimedia project, Build Up Nigeria and has produced a series of short films in the U.S. He is the pastor of the Mind of Christ Christian Center in California and Abuja . He is also known for using social media to project the Gospel. Omokri continues to write articles for major newspapers (mainly political OpEd and Christian material).
He is also known for been a controversial gospel preacher that opens the scripture for everyone to see.
About few days ago, Pastor Reno Omokroi said that drinking alcohol wasn't a sin, and he had many people have disagreed with him, saying contrary things to his opinion.
According to him Mathew 26: 29 has specified that drinking alcohol is not a sin, and many people have regarded his Bible reference from the old testament.
He also has replied to those saying his Bible reference is from old testament and still honour Malachi 3:10 which is the Bible verse that supports paying of tithe.
Reno Omokri has revealed that the Bible didn't only support drinking of alcohol but also permits one to buy alcohol with tithe money.
The pastor went further to reveal to those that said the scripture he cited was old testament that the scripture the also use to justify tithe is also an old testament.
According to him drunkness is sin and not drinking, saying that even in heaven the drink wine.
