While cruising through social media channels (namely, Instagram) in the early hours of the morning, I came across this post by Tega Dominic, a former Big Brother housemate. She discloses what she does when her fans' trolls become too much for her to handle.
While the famous reality television show provides a platform for people to earn fame, it also has drawbacks for those who take the wrong routes while in the house.
Their relationship went against the will of their followers, as they took to the voting poll to ensure they were voted out earlier than she expected. This was because, as a married woman, Nigerians frowned at women who engage in extramarital affairs.
Days after she was evicted from the ongoing show, she took to the social media platforms to apologize to her husband and Nigerians especially, the women folks who believe she failed to represent them positively while she was on the show.
Despite the apology, her followers seem to be hard on her as they continue to troll her each time she posts via her verified Instagram page. While expressing her feelings, she said,
"Sometimes when it gets too much, pause and laugh. Let go and let God lead" she encouraged herself.
Her post caught the attention of her followers as they slide to the comment section to react to her post, check out mixed reactions below:
My Opinion is, no one is above mistakes, it's obvious she has learned from her past mistakes, it's time to give her a second chance to make amend while focusing on her marriage.
