Macaulay Cheryl a singer, and songwriter who hails from Port Harcourt, Rivers State Nigeria.

Over the years she has made songs and various covers from the various artist which has gained the attention of many Nigerian artists so far.
We have seen Mccheryl on so many covers and she did pretty well on all, but this very Teni’s cover gained much attention after the it was highlighted in the Nigeria Movie "Merry Men 2", which featured veteran Nigeria actors like Jim Iyke, Ramsey Nouah, and many others.

According to Netflix, the movie has been rank among the top ten Nigerian Movie in the platform having about 180 million views on the platform, also the highest Grossing Nollywood Movie in the Cinemas.
