It is certain that women in our society, like every other parts of the world, are often subjected to unfair judgement even by those who knew next to nothing about them. This is what inspired the songstress, Simi, who took to the social media last week Thursday to share a post addressing those who usually have one bad thing or the other to say about women in the society.
Getting her message, other Nigerian women have started taken to the social media to weigh in on the matter, sharing different hurtful things people do say about them.
While tens of Nigerian women have had one or two things to say on social media as regards the #nobodylikewoman challenge started by Simi, we will be looking at the three female celebrities who took it upon themselves to reveal some of the awful things their haters often say about them.
1. Realwarripikin In reaction to Simi's #nobodylikewoman challenge, comedienne Anita Asuoha professionally known as Realwarripikin took to her Instagram page over the weekend to disclose the line her haters often used against her in an attempt to make her feel bad.
2. Nikki Laoye
Gospel singer and actress, Oyenike Laoye popularly known as Nikki Laoye who also partook in the challenge revealed how some people are using her current marital status to mock her.
Nikki has remained unmarried since she and her former husband, Alex Aturu, separated in 2018. Meanwhile, the singer who will turn 41 in December revealed her marital status has been the backdoor through which haters are trying to get to her.
4. Dayo Amusa Popular Lagos born actress and singer, Dayo Amusa, also disclosed the kind of hurtful remarks people often say to her over her current marital status.
Dayo Amusa who turned 38 in July is yet to marry or have kids. However, going by her Instagram post on Monday night, some people who don't like her personality have been using her marital status to make her feel bad.
