English footballer, Marcus Rashford, has named Nigerian singer, Burna Boy as his favourite Afrobeat singer.
The footballer made this known during an interactive session with his fans on Twitter where they were allowed to ask him any question and he responds.
A curious fan identified as @Jonvilo 1 asked, “Got lots of fans in Nigeria, do you listen to afrobeat?? And what’s your favourite Afrobeat song at the moment? And who is your favourite afrobeat artist?”.
Marcus simply tagged Burna Boy as his favourite Afrobeat Artist.
Burna boy has garnered a lot of love across the world with his music. At the just ended Grammy’s awards, Burna Boy’s album titled, Twice As Tall emerged as the winner of The Best Global Music Album.
This made Burna Boy the first Nigerian singer to receive a Grammy award. He won this after being nominated in the category two consecutive times.
