Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpotha has spoken up with regards to the encounter she had in her polling unit where she went to vote during the Governorship and state assembly election in Lagos State.
The actress who initially made a video narrating how she was almost attacked, further narrated on her social media page, that the thugs spoke in Yoruba language, threatening her and saying that she should not bring out her phone to make any calls or videos else they will [email protected] her. The actress stated that she had to comply and put her phone away because she was intimidated and scared for her life. Chioma Akpotha wrote:
“At my polling unit today, they spoke in Yoruba saying that I must not bring my phone out! No videos no calls otherwise they wee “shook” me. Intimidated and afraid for my life, I put my phone away. This is the Nigeria we live in today”
