The Popular Yoruba actress who changed to Muslim because of the pastor's attitude to do final rites on her mother when she gave up. Yeah, the lady am talking about is none other than the beautiful Lizzy Anjorin of Yoruba Nollywood movies.
Liz Aishat Anjorin was born Elizabeth Aishat Anjorin. She is a Nigerian actress who had features predominantly in the Nigerian Yoruba movie industry. The Popular actress had a very rough upbringing as she hawks edibles for her mother to survive the hard conditions of life.
Anjorin completed her primary and secondary school certificate and was admitted into Adekunle Ajasin University to study law but she was unable to finish and eventually drop out.
Liz Anjorin made her breakthrough into the movie industry as a producer. She made fame with the movie "Owo Naira" as the producer.
In 2013, She converted to Muslim and she revealed her reasoning for conversion.
She stated that when her mother died, the pastors were not ready to lay her mother to rest with the claim her mother is not their member. She revealed she called up to 10 pastors and they all said the same.
She revealed lt was an Alfa that later made the prayer for her mother and Muslims stood by her all through the burial, as no Christians stood by her side. After the burial, the Alfa called her to go to Hajj and pray for her mother. That's how she then changed from a Christian to a Muslim.
