When Femi Otedola's daughter Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, entered the entertainment industry, she mainly started out as a disc jockey, and she was doing pretty well. Then, she decided to broaden her scope into music, and she has been fairing pretty well in it too. Just as expected, when an Artiste releases a song, some fans may like it, while others may not, it all depends on the taste of their music.
DJ cuppy is one of the Nigerian artistes who has had her own bitter share of this problem of open criticism, that many fans throw at artistes, which is often due to their dissatisfaction about the Artiste's song.
However, Cuppy seems to be fully aware of this and she has come out to face it, after she uploaded the photo of her album on her Instagram page, and wrote some messages for her fans. In the message, the Artiste claimed that everyday she reads horrible comments about her voice, and that she has been advised to stick with her disc jockeying job, but that she is quite sure that most of the people who hate her music have never listened to her album titled "original copy", with open ears and 29 minutes of their time to spare.
She further begged her fans to listen to the album, and give her an honest feedback. If you ask me, this is the most courageous action I have ever seen from the Artiste.
Interestingly, people have been giving their feedback on the music, and I can tell you that many people actually found the album appealing to the ears. Check out people's feedback below.
Notably, the Artiste's father and her sister also showed their support for the Artiste in the comments above. I am greatly touched by the courage of DJ cuppy. God bless her.
