One of the hallmark of humanity is caring and looking out for one another.
Some of us grew up with an orientation that, whatever affect your neighbour, affects you too and this really had effect on our communal living then but unfortunately today, communal living is dying and fading out. One of the factors for that is the insecurity and distrust.
A lady has taken to twitter to narrate what happened to her this morning, while having normal morning jogging exercise in Abuja.
Pictures of the lady
According to her, she went out to run as usual but unfortunately for her, she tripped and injured herself in the process. But while still on ground injured, other joggers were minding their business and no one even try to ask or know what happened to her. A situation which made her to cry.
Read her tweet.
"I went for my morning run, then I tripped and got bruises and injury all over my legs
Crazy part is everyone kept jogging and nobody even bothered to ask if I was alright
I didn’t know when I started crying sef 😂
This Abuja lifestyle of mind your business no too healthy"
It is so sad that humanity is gradually fading away and the "mantra" of love your neighbor as yourself is almost non-existence in today's world because of many factors.
If what happened to the lady was something capable of ending her life, that's how she would have died without a help because, we now live in a world where "everyone is minding his/her business".
