Recalls that Iyabo Ojo recently called out her colleague, Funke Akindele, accusing her of funding a blog to discredit Toyin Abraham's new movie.
Picture of Toyin Abraham.
This is because a platform (CinemaPointer) which specializes in reviewing movies had earlier criticized Toyin Abraham's movie on Instagram.
CinemaPointer described "The Ghost and the Tout Too" as "a haplessly brain-dead story" while also alleging that Toyin Abraham attempted to copy Funke Akindele's concept in "Omo Ghetto".
Iyabo Ojo who rubbished the review, accused the platform of collecting money from Funke Akindele to discredit Toyin Abraham's movie. She also said that Funke Akindele is not a good person.
Looking at Iyabo Ojo's comments critically, there are two major fact in her statement.
1 The platform is obviously trying to downgrade Toyin Abraham's new movie because their review is sentimental, and they may have been influenced to do that review.
2 Iyabo Ojo in her statement, said she knew Funke Akindele very well. This is very true because they have been together for long time now (as colleagues), and regardless of how we perceive Funke Akindele on social media we cannot know her as much as Iyabo Ojo.
