Wizkid has officially made history as the the song is the first song by a Nigerian record label to earn the certification which is a great feat for him.
The song was an instant success when it drop in Nigeria and debuted at no 1 in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
The song has made Wizkid the only Nigeria artists with the most certification in Canada. He has a total of four certification which include:
One Dance ( certified Diamond)
Come closer ( certified Gold)
Borrowed Love ( certified Gold)
Soco (certified Gold)
With this achievement, he has officially become the best selling artist in Canada with more than 920,000 units sold in the country.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun whose stage name is 'Wizkid' came into the world on the 16th of July 1990. The gifted artist started recording music when he was 11 year if age. His break camewhen he met R&B Crooner Banky W who signed him to Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009. Since then, Wizkid has risen to greater heights as he became the first Nigerian musician to have over one million followers on Twitter and still waxing strong with die hard fans that can go to any length for him.
