Helen McCrory, an actress who gained popularity after starring in the famous series titled "Peaky blinders" and also "Harry Potter" was announced dead on the 16th of April, 2021 by her husband Damian Lewis. Helen died of cancer at the age of 52 surrounded by family and friends.
Fans and actors of the movie have gone on social media to pay their condolences to her family and to also express their shock at the sad news. A lot of them have mentioned that Helen played the role of aunt Polly Gray in "Peaky blinders" to perfection in the show, and there can never be a replacement for her because everyone has come to love her.
They mentioned that although the show must go on, her character in the movie would live on in every one's memory. Helen was also a popular philanthropist who was engaged in several fund raisers for charity organisations even up till a month before her death, and she had also preferred to keep the information about her cancer private from the scrutiny of the public .
